Post answers to the following: In Module 3, you learned about Egyptian gods and their hybridization of humans and animals (Anubis, for example). However, Grecian gods were depicted only in human form. In your opinion, which mythological form would have been most powerful for its followers? Please explain your answer. Respond to at least one classmate’s post by offering additional details or ideas, a different perspective, or links to interesting, relevant articles or websites. Conclude with a question or new idea to further stimulate the discussion.classmate’s response ( I personally think that the human form would have been most effective and powerful to followers, as it is something that humans obviously can relate to way more than we can relate to the hybridization of humans and animals. I believe that this would almost alienate the Egyptian gods from the people who worshipped them. Because of the emphasis on democracy as well as important contributions Greeks made to the fields of art, literature, and science, I personally think that they were more focused on the “people,” and it is possible that the connection they felt with their humanistic gods was part of the reason they were so driven towards bettering the world. )
